ATRI ASKS TRUCKING INDUSTRY TO RANK TOP CRITICAL ISSUES FOR 2016
The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is conducting its annual survey of the top industry issues that directly affect the trucking industry.
The 2016 online survey is commissioned by the American Trucking Associations (ATA), and asks trucking industry stakeholders to participate in the survey by ranking the top issues of concern for trucking, and offer opinions on appropriate strategies for addressing each of the concerns.
Some of the topics identified as critical industry issues for 2016 are: Autonomous Vehicles; Cyber Security; Driver Health and Wellness; Driver Shortage and Retention; the Economy; Hours of Service; Sleep Apnea; Truck Parking; and Truck Security/Cargo Theft.
The Industry Issues survey, started in 2005, is in its 12th year of giving all members of the trucking industry a unique and vital opportunity to share experiences and help ensure the long-term health of U.S. trucking. Participation in the survey by stakeholders has grown each year.
The results of the 2016 survey will be released at the ATA Annual Management Conference and Exhibition to be held October 1 – 4, 2016 in Las Vegas.
Owner Operator Direct does online truck insurance quotes. Are you paying too much for too little coverage? Probably. But only one way to find out for sure.
