Truck drivers are on strike in Southern Florida.
Unhappy with their pay, high insurance costs and the fees brokers are taking to book owner operators, they took to the streets to protest what they are calling unfair labor practices. Trucks lined up along Palmetto Expressway and Okeechobee Road on Monday. They honked horns and blocked traffic.

The drivers want the same benefits offered to other workplaces, which include unemployment benefits, minimum wage, overtime, etc.
Two truck drivers were arrested at the scene for resisting arrest without violence.
